Kayak Rudders
Rudders help control the direction of your kayak in windy conditions or currents.
Kayak rudders are controlled by moving paddlers foot rest pedals (for direction) and a control line mounted by the cockpit to lift & lower the rudder.
All the rudders below are supplied in self fitting kit form with instructions

Perception Kayaks Rudder
Perception rudder is an effiicient overstern rudder system that lifts easily from the water for beaching and transport.
It can be fitted as an optional extra to all Perception touring kayaks.
Kit includes the Tip Toe Foot rest system required to operate the rudder as pictured.

Venture Kayaks Easy Rudder
This low profile design stows the blade vertically which creates much less wind resistance via the small blade area.
Its strong, lightweight construction weighs less than 500g (1.1lb) and with few moving parts it keeps the unit nice and simple.
The one cord retraction system gives it its name.
Suitable for use with the Venture Kayaks Easky & Orca range of touring kayaks.
The Easy rudder is compatible with Venture Kayaks standard Twistlock foot rest system as standard with the Easky's & Orca's.

Navigator Rudder
The Navigator rudder system forms a complete departure from standard
over-the-stern types where the blade pivots 270° or 180° from its vertical deployed position to a horizontal or vertical retracted position on the deck.
The Navigator goes from vertical to horizontal the shortest way by pivoting only 90°.
When you pull on the retracting line, the blade slides within a pivoting sleeve and comes head-first onto the stern. Both simple and efficient.
Navigator rudder is compatible with Venture Kayaks standard Twistlock foot rest system as standard with the Easky's & Orca's..
