Point 65 Crunch Rocket is an exceptionally fast touring kayak/sea kayak. Point 65 wanted to create a kayak in triple skin plastic that could rival the speed of the composite kayaks which could be used as a practice racing boat too. The 'Rocket' is very fast in a straight line and tracks well, and manauvers easily using the rudder system. The Crunch Rocket is quite narrow and sleek which makes it so fast, but is not ideal for the new or less experienced paddler.
Point 65 claim that this is probably the fastest plastic touring kayak in the world. It makes a perfect plastic practice kayak for racing, or for those looking to work on their fitness. Also a great option for the more experienced paddler looking for a more exciting touring kayak. The Crunch Rocket has two hatches plus a third day hatch and comes with rudder as standard. Triple skin technology adds to the performance and hull speed of this kayak.
