Sea Kayaking at Porthpean

May 2009 Staff Paddle
Staff at Cornwall Canoes are all paddlers, we paddle the boats that we stock and sell.
Below are some images from an evening sea paddle after work. We launched on Porthpean beach and paddled west around the coast to Pentewan and back. The evening started with light winds (Porthpean is sheltered from the westerly wind) and cloud but turned into a bright sunny paddle.
The wind and sea picked up between Blackhead and Pentewan providing some fun around the rocks.

P&H Capella 166 RM, Point 65 Seacrusier, Venture Kayaks Easky 15 and P&H Scorpio 170 were the evenings test boats, with a selection of Aquabound, Lendal and Robson touring paddles.
