The Malibu 11.5 from Ocean Kayak is a great option for those wanting to have fun on the water on a kayak that offers reassuring stability, good comfort with enough performance to handle both flatwaters and sheltered coastal waters. From fun at the beach in the surf, to a day trip on the lakes or even exploring the local coastline and bays on a nice day, the Malibu 11.5 will be your answer to having some all-round fun on the water. The hull design is optimised to provide good stability in surf, with just enough bow flare to cope in choppier waters too.
Fitted with an adjustable AirComfort back rest for great lumbar support, you can be sure to enjoy paddling the Malibu 11.5 all-day long. Moulded-in footrests provide a form point of contact to allow for efficient paddling strokes. Featuring a QuickStash dry hatch fitted just in front of the seat, allowing for storage of small items you need easy access to on the water. The large rear tankwell and smaller bow well are fitted with criss-cross bungess for keeping any extra gear secure - perfect for holding a dry bag of kit.
Toggle end handles make it easy for two people to carry the kayak, or for the kayak to be pulled from the front when on a trolley. The solid side carry handles are excellent for grabbing the kayak at it's centre point and lifting onto a roof rack for transport and the stackle design makes it easier to transport and store multiple kayaks. The scupper holes allow for quick draining of the deck if swamped by a wave (handy when playing in the surf). 3 cup holders are even included so that you canb stay hydrated on the water.
