A tandem kayak outfitted specifically for fishing. The Malibu 2 XL Angler makes a great fishing kayak for two people and includes a large oval storage hatch and 2 adjustable Scotty rod holders that can be mounted in four positions on the kayak.

The two Comfort Plus seats provide plenty of back support to make long sessions on the water more comfortable. The central oval Gaspachi hatch will easily a kayak trolley, including the popular C-Tug, along with more gear. A small storage crate can also easily be fitted on top of this hatch when the kayak is in use on the water, so that all the essential items of fishing gear are kept within easy reach of both paddlers.

The Malibu 2 XL paddles well on inland waters and in moderate coastal conditions with two people paddling. The buoyant bow bobs up and over choppy conditions reasonably well.

The Malibu 2 XL Angler also makes a great tandem for general paddling and will comfortably take 2 adults and a small child or dog, or one adult and one child. It can also be paddled solo by moving the seat into the central position. The overlapping footrests ensure paddling in this position is still comfortable.

Others features include solid side carrying handles, deck bungee at the bow and stern, and a skid plate on the rear of the keel.
