Old Town Sorrento 126SK
The Old Town Sorrento 126 SK is a comfortable and versatile day touring kayak with alarge open cockpit for easy entry and exit. This offers plenty of space and an unrestricted feel as you paddle. At 12ft 6in, the Sorrento 126 is great for cruising on clam waters and exploring lakes, estuaries and other inland waters. A great choice for flatwater day trips and adventures. The larger cockpit and extra weight carrying capacity over the smaller Sorrento 106 SK, makes the Sprrento 126 SK a good choice for the larger paddler looking for a touring kayak. As with the smaller Sorrento, the 126 SK features a drop down skeg to enhance straight-line tracking in windy conditions and the kayak is easy to manoeuver when the skeg is pulled up. At just 24.5 kg you will find handling off the water is fairly easy too.
The large cockpit offers plenty of legroom and features the Active Comfort System Seat to provide plenty of back support and a great level of comfort. The generously sized rear sealed bulkhead storage area is accessed by an oval Quick Seal hatch while deck bungees to the bow and stern provide additional on deck storage. This is a premium quality kayak and an excellent choice for paddlers at beginner or intermediate level wanting to explore gentle rivers, lakes or sheltered bays and coastlines on calm days.
