The Gumotex Rush 2 Cockpit Kits are removable accessories that give you the ability to adapt the kayak from an open-top into a closed-cockpit design. This gives both the paddler and their gear increased protection from tougher conditions on the water, and helps prevent water from getting inside the kayak.

Available in both a complete 1-person and a 2-person version, the deck is supported with metal bars that create a frame for the cover to stay in-place, ensuring plentiful space for storage and unrestrictive movement. The bars also provide extra stiffness to the structure of the kayak, increasing performance and capability in choppy waters. The complete kits also include a plastic cockpit rim that holds a sturdy shape so you can use a spraydeck alongside the cover, offering complete coverage.
