In September 2025, Hobie was acquired by Bass Pro Shops (White River Marine Group), with production relocating from Mexico to Lebanon, Missouri, USA.

Rudder Handle Upgrade for Pro Angler and Island Series
Everything you need to upgrade a 2012-2018 Pro Angler 12 or 2013-2018 Pro Angler 14 to have steering risers for better comfort and control of the steering system. The riser allows you to grip around the handle, which offers more comfort when in the raised Vanatage ST seat on Pro Anglers. Can also be used to replace broken handles/risers on 2018+ model Adventure and Tandem Islands, and Pro Anglers. The Dual Steering Riser Kit includes:
