In September 2025, Hobie was acquired by Bass Pro Shops (White River Marine Group), with production relocating from Mexico to Lebanon, Missouri, USA.

Rubber Mesh Pockets for Hobie Kayaks
Found as standard on all 2018+ Hobie Kayaks, the rubberised mesh pockets prevents fishing hooks fouling in the mesh when fishing. Replace older fabric mesh pockets with these direct replacements.
Also available with the frame to add to kayaks without pockets as standard. A popular addition to the Hobie Passport and Hobie Compass models, but could be added to any kayak with sufficient flat area for installation. The version with the frame includes installation screws.
