Lightweight Tiltable Two Bike Towbar Rack
The Outpace 2 is a lightweight, folding and tilting tow bar bike rack for carrying 1 or 2 bikes. Once you have unloaded your bikes you can tilt it upwards into a vertical position for easy parking whilst you are off for a ride, and folds up to a very compact size for easy storage when not in use. The whole carrier is also tiltable when loaded with bikes to provide easy access to the vehicle boot.
Each bike secures using arms that pivot from the base. These use a moveable head clamp that rotates, slides, and adjusts flexibly to fit different bike sizes and styles, making sure it always finds the perfect position on the frame. Wheel straps are then used to secure the wheels into the trays. The mounting arms allow the bikes to be loaded and unloaded in any order unlike most bike racks which use horizontal frame clamps which pass through each bike frame so the bikes have to be unloaded in order. Being foldable it is easy to store at home when not in use.
The frame clamps are compatible with bike frames between 20-90mm diameter and bikes up to 1250mm wheel base. Complete with an integrated number plate holder and highly visible lights that connect to your 13 pin tow bar socket.
