Elevated Boot mounted Cycle Carrier
The Thule OutWay Platform is a boot mounted 2 bike carrier on which your bikes are carried above your vehicle's numberplate and rear lights. This simplifies the design and makes it a fairly lightweight product as the carrier does not need integrated lights, number plate carrier or an electrical connection.
This bike carrier is quick and easy to use. Protected steel cables give maximum security and tighten using a torque limiting system to fasten the OutWay Platform securely to your vehicle. The carrier can be locked to your vehicle and the bikes to the carrier.
Mounting bikes to the OutWay Platform couldn’t be easier, with adjustable and removable arms which hold the frame of your bikes in place. Thanks to Thule’s AcuTight torque limiter knobs, you can not overtighten once optimal torque has been reached. The OutWay Platform arms can then be locked to your bike frame. Wheels are secured by long wheel straps with moveable rubber protection, and the straps are tightened using ratcheting buckles.
