Towbar Bike Carrier for 2 Bikes

If you are needing to transport larger and heavier bikes, such as e-bikes, mountain bikes and fat bikes, the Velospace XT is the bike carrier for you thanks to its high load capacity and spacious design. The XT2 model will carry 1 or 2 bikes and can be equally used with smaller and lighter weight road bikes as it can with the heavier sports and electric bikes. Even small children's bikes can be transported securely on the VeloSpace XT 2. Loading and securing your bikes onto the carrier is made very easy. Simply place the tires into the wheel trays and then place the frame clamps over the mainframe and tighten into place with the AcuTight lockable knobs. These are torque-limited, so click when optimal torque is reached to ensure your bikes are securely held. Once secure, the wheels can be strapped down to the wheel trays using the adjustable straps with pump buckles.

Once fitted, the VeloSpace XT 2 can be tilted away from the vehicle for ease of access to the boot. When not in use, the VeloSpace folds down for easier storage. Featuring a number plate holder and lighting board that uses 13-pin electrics. If your vehicle has 7-pin electrics, you will need to purchase the Thule 7-13 Pin Tow Bar Electrics Adapter 9906 (sold separately). Want to make life easier loading your bike onto the VeloSpace XT 2? Add-on the Thule Loading Ramp 9172 (sold separately) and simply wheel the bike onto the carrier!

The rack is lockable to the tow bar ball, and the frame clamps feature lockable tightening knobs to help reduce the chance of theft of the carrier or your bikes.

The VeloSpace XT 2 is a great option for carrying a couple of larger and heavier bikes on the back of your vehicle. You can also expand the capacity to carrying a 3rd bike with an additional adapter, but if you are planning to regularly carry 3 bikes, then consider the Velospace XT 3.
