Ultimate Whitewater Buoyancy Aid
The Palm Extrem is one of the best whitewater buoyancy aids you can buy. It is packed with pretty much every feature you could need on the water yet has minimal bulk and offers unparalleled comfort. The wrap and flexifit design conceals a lot more buoyancy than meets the eye, the front separates to allow easy entry and a four point clip system fastens very quickly and securely. A large redesigned 'utility-draw' front pocket with internal compartments segments your gear and overlaps the front join, making the buoyancy aid appear to be a pullover.
The Extrem also features a chest pocket for knife storage and whistle, a centre chest harness and reflective detail on front and rear, as well as adjustable shoulder straps covered with tough grip panels to help with boat carrying. Everything about the Extrem is well-thought-out - a paddler's jacket with a design that has evolved to become a benchmark amongst PFDs.

PFD Fit Guide
Chest – Measure horizontally under the armpits, around the fullest part of your chest and shoulder blades.
Weight – Factor in the weight of all the equipment you'll be wearing as well.
PFD Buoyancy Label – A correct fit is more important than choosing the buoyancy category according to their weight. All Palm Buoyancy Aids have buoyancy above the minimum floatation required for CE/ISO certification. PFD weight ranges are printed inside Palm Buoyancy Aids, on the ISO label.
