The Thule Hull A Port XTR is a J-Cradle for securely transporting a kayak in an upright position on a vehicle roof rack. With its stylish and sleek looks, the Hull-a-Port XTR carrier looks great on any car or van. This carrier fits to roof bars using two strong wrap-around straps and is compatible with popular roof bars including Thule SquareBar, WingBar, WingBar Evo, WingBar Edge and ProBar. The bars of the J shaped cradle are well padded to protect your kayak and hold it securely for transporting your kayak to and from the water. Suitable for touring kayaks, sea kayaks, white water kayaks and small-to-medium sized Sit On Tops.

The Hull-A-Port XTR can also be positioned in an upright / vertical position to allow for two kayaks to be transported on a roof rack, one either side of the upright section with the hulls on edge. The Hull A Port XTR can be folded flat when not in use to improve fuel efficiency and reduce overall vehicle height for easier access to height restricted areas such as car parks and drive-throughs. The Hull A Port XTR includes 2 x 4.00m cam buckle straps and bow and stern tie downs.
