Hard-shell cargo box for Easyfold 3 and EPOS bike racks
A premium hard-shell cargo box designed to fit onto the Thule Epos and Thule EasyFold 3 tow-bar mounted bike racks, providing you with 260L of storage capacity for the back of your vehicle. Durable and stylish, the Santu box sits in the slipstream of your vehicle during transport for better aerodynamics and less wind noise than a traditional roof mounted cargo box. For those who need to maximise the storage potential of your vehicle, by having a Santu box on your bike rack, the roof is left free for a roof box or other roof mounted accessories! Great for carrying luggage on your travels, with up to 45kg of carrying capacity depending on where the box is fitted to your bike rack (see instructions for full details). A smaller mesh pocket is also found inside the box for organising smaller items.
When used with the EPOS for 3 Bikes carrier, you can fit the Santu box over the outer two bike positions allows you to also carry one bike on the inside of the Santu box for a complete storage solution for a bike road trip! This configuration does lower the weight carrying capacity of the box to 25kg, but enough to still carry plenty of luggage or lightweight but bulky camping gear such as sleeping bags and roll mats.
Complete with a handle at one end and dual wheels at the other, making it easy to wheel the Santu box too and from your vehicle to load onto the bike rack. Securely lock the contents inside with the SlideLock mechanism, which indicates one the box is properly closed and can be locked for security. As the Easyfold 3 and EPOS carriers tilt even with the Santu box fitted, you can maintain access to your car boot.
