Premium Sea Kayak Jacket

The Palm Chinook is a fully featured durable 2.5-layer touring jacket able to provide the protection against wind and rain and spray you need when the weather rolls in while being light enough to pack down to a compact size when the sunshine returns on those changeable days. It is a great choice for paddling on lakes, rivers, and the sea.

The Chinook jacket features a generous volume adjustable, and helmet compatible, hood along with an outer collar which has laser-cut breather holes and an offset zip with tie-back stud to increase ventilation when required. The adjustable internal velcro neck closure and latex wrist gaskets stop spray from reaching where it's not wanted, while the breathable fabric helps reduce condensation build-up. The twin waist has a drawcord adjustable neoprene hem and enables the jacket to be combined with suitable protective trousers, such as the Palm Atom Pants, with an overlapping join to provide all over body protection for warm and dry paddling.

Getting The Right Fit

Height – From the floor, to the top of your head. Best Measured against a wall.

Chest – Measure Horizontally under your armpits, around the fullest part of your chest and shoulder blades.

Waist – Measure the waist circumference at the smallest part of your waist.

Inside Leg – Measure from your ankle bone, to your groin.
