The Gradient 3.0 boot is designed to perform in wet conditions, making it a great choice for paddlers. The unique Vibram sole has been specifically designed by Palm to give the ultimate grip on wet surfaces. The super tough design uses fewer seams, tougher components and reinforcement where it is needed. The upper boot features neoprene with a velcro closure to reduce sand, grit, and debris from entering the boot as you launch, land or clamber around. The Gradient 3.0 provides a good amount of ankle support and is comfortable to wear for long periods, both on and off the water, thanks to a dual density sole.

The low-profile design ensures the Gradient 3.0 can be worn comfortably within the cockpit of a sit-in kayak, and within the footwells of a sit-on kayak. The Gradient 3.0 can be worn with a variety of clothing - wear with water socks or with drysuit socks. If you require extra room to allow for thick socks, then the inner sole can easily be removed to accommodate these - an EVA foam layer is found beneath the removable sole to still provide comfort!
