The Ion is essentially the smaller version of the Fusion, but is best suited to shorter distance trips and quick paddling sessions for those wanting a kayak that is very easy to get on with. Perfect for budding paddlers entering the world of paddling and learning the ropes with a club, but also for paddlers who just want a good lightweight 'throw and go' kayak.

The stable hull has relatively soft edges for easy handling yet just enough to carve the hull on moving water to learn those more technical moves on the river. If you are mainly flatwater paddling and want to maintain a straight line, just simply drop-down the skeg for enhanced performance. The skeg system is situated externally for easy maintenance.

Equipped with a round stern hatch with durable Kajayak Sport rubber hatch cover, twist-lock foot pegs for easy footrest adjustment and durable injection moulded carry handles. The Ion makes a great choice for the club paddler, but also the paddler just wanting a lightweight and easy to paddle all-rounder for lakes, canals, rivers and estuary creeks.
