For those wanting an easy paddling, lightweight touring kayak, the Delta 12.10 offers superb performance. Weighing in at just 18.6kg thanks to it's thermoformed ABS construction, that provides a rigid and durable hull, with the classy shine and weight-saving often reserved to more expensive composite kayaks. The 12ft 10in hull is sleek with a shallow-V design and an extended keel for improved tracking and surprising speed, yet with enough stability for novice-to-intermediate paddlers to enjoy. A great choice for those wanting to tour and explore calm coastal waters, lakes and quiet rivers and creeks.
Outfitted with a comfortable and adjustable Contour II seating system and together with adjustable footrests and a spacious cockpit, you can get comfortable for spending many hours out cruising the waters. More experienced paddlers may wish to add the optional Hip Pad Kit for further connectivity to the hull for imporved handling - particuualry useful for rolling or precise edging techniques. As standard though the 12.10 performs just great for those wanting to glide with ease on calm waters.
Equipped with 3 x storage hatches featuring press-lock hatch covers, colour coded to the kayak for that added touch of class! The front and rear storage areas feature rigid bulkheads, and the day hatch opens to a rigid pod large enough to hold a camera/phone andsnacks for quick easy access on the water. The finish on the Delta Kayaks is superb, and even the deck bungees are recessed into the hull, along with the deck fittings to make for one slick looking kayak!
