The cable length on a Bixpy J-2 Motor is 150cm / 5ft long. If you want to position your battery further from your motor then youwill need one of these extension cables. Available in 4.5ft and 9ft lengths. Handy if you want to place your battery in the bow hatch or near the front of the kayak.

Please Note: Extension cables reduce the efficiency of the motor, especially so at higher speeds. There is approximately a 1% to 4% power loss with a 4.5 ft extension cable and a 2% to 8% power loss with the 9 ft extension cable. Be sure to buy the shortest cable you can get away with to ensure maximum efficiency of your set up!
