Bixpy Rudder Mount

The Bixpy-Ready Gravity Rudder (made by Vibe Kayaks) is the first rudder that is specifically designed to accept a Bixpy motor. An end cap unbolts from the rudder blade, revealing a mounting position for the Bixpy K-1 or J-2 Motor. The rudder has a 10mm rudder pin which is the standard across almost all kayak manufacturers, meaning that this adaptor can be used with almost all kayaks with an existing rudder and also rudder-ready kayaks! This adaptor includes the Vibe Bixpy-Ready Gravity Rudder, Bixpy Clam Cleat and Pull-Up Rope.

The Gravity rudder features a robust double hinged, 90° Slide & Stow mechanism allowing you to completely haul the rudder and motor out of the water for launching and landing. Steering is achieved using the existing rudder foot controls on your kayak. Please Note: If your kayak does not already have a rudder installed, then foot steering controls or hand steering controls may be required as an additional purchase if your kayak does not have sliding or tip-toe footrests for rudder control.
