Easy to put on nylon spraydeck for kayaks

The Coniston spray deck is a good choice for touring and with recreational kayaks due to its easy fitting and removal. It is made from durable ripstop nylon and features a 6mm adjustable shock cord, high back, adjustable waist and a 20mm webbing release loop with moulded handle. Great for those who want a great quality spraydeck that is easy to put on and take off the kayak.

The Coniston is available in 4 sizes. It is a great choice for novices and progressing kayakers. If you are nervous of wearing a spraydeck sit in your kayak on the land and leave the drawcord fairly loose. Raise your knee and you will see it start to pop off, that should reassure you it is not a trap! Tighten it to a fairly firm tension you feel happy with and off you go, you will soon realise what an asset a spraydeck is. As your confidence builds you can gradually tighten it until it has enough grip to stay on when rolling or paddling out through surf.

The Coniston also makes a great spare spraydeck for more advanced paddlers heading off for a multi-day trip or expedition as it rolls down small so is easy to pack away.
