Gumotex Solar 2
The Gumotex Solar 2 is a versatile inflatable kayak that can be paddled by up to 3 paddlers. As standard there are 2 seats making this a great tandem kayak. The seats are very easy to move, the solar 2 can also be paddled by one adult sat in the central seating position to maintain good trim. This makes it a good choice for a solo paddler who wants to do longer trips with enough room for overnight or multi-day camping expeditions. It can also be paddled by 3 people by purchasing an additional seat. This makes it a versatile kayak to be enjoyed by all the family.
Made from durable and abrasion resistant Nitrilon material, the Solar 2 will handle everyday knocks and bumps. The seats and footrests allow you to get into a comfortable paddling position. The hull is super stable will give confidence to those who have never paddled before. The Solar has a long waterline length which makes it a fairly quick inflatable to paddle and with the removable skeg it also tracks well in a straight line.
The Solar 2 is particularly well suited to paddling on flat water such as lakes, slow rivers and estuaries but it is also at home in low grade white water, on the sea and for some gentle surf play at the beach. Great fun for all the family!

Construction
The Gumotex Solar 2 is constructed from Nitrilon®. This material is highly resistant to abrasion, aging and UV radiation.
Material composition: High strength PES fibre (1) with an outer layer of synthetic rubber (2) and inner layer of a mixture based on natural rubber (3).
