Hobie Mirage Drive Parts

Spare parts available for V1, V2, GT, MD180 and MD360 Mirage Drive systems.

• V1 drives have a sprocket/mast connection that uses a set screw. This system was used on Mirage Drives pre-2009.
• V2 drives have a threaded sprocket/mast connection. This system is used on V2 Mirage Drives from 2009 to 2015.
• GT drives use roller bearings in pivoting components e.g. sprockets/drums/idler pulley. This system is used on Mirage Drives from 2015 to present. GT drives also use some V2 components.
• MD180 V1 drives uses many new parts but does use some GT and V2 components. This system was used in 2017 only. Differs from MD180 V2 by having a different fin connection to the boom, slightly different FWD and REV shifters and standard square pedal cranks. V1 to V2 fin update kits are available. • MD180 V2 drives feature some upgraded components from the MD180 V1 including ARC pedal cranks. This system is used in 2018 and 2019 only.
• GT Kick Up drives features Kick-Up Fins and uses roller bearings in pivoting components e.g. sprockets/drums/idler pulley. This system is used on select models from 2020 to present.
• MD180 Kick Up drives are similar to the MD180 V2 but use Kick-Up Fins and slightly different components. This system is used from 2020 to present.
• MD360 Kick Up drives are used on the Pro Angler 360 series. This system is used from 2020 to present.
