Anchoring Accessories For Kayak Fishing

Anchoring your fishing kayak can allow you to catch some species that require a bait to be fished static on the bottom. We sell everything you need to set up an anchor system on your kayak so that you can fish at anchor safely. A kayak anchor system is made up of two main parts:

• Anchor Trolley System 
• Anchoring Set Up

An anchor trolley system allows you to shuttle your anchoring line to the bow or more commonly the stern of your kayak. This is the safest position to anchor your kayak from so that you swing down-tide / down-wind and the kayak can ride the prevailing conditions for the best stability whilst at anchor. 

An anchoring set up comprises an anchor, usually a length of chain and your anchor line. This can be set up to be a quick-release system, or a more simple / direct system.
