It allows you to shuttle the anchor line to the bow or stern of the kayak so that you can safely anchor with the kayak in line with the prevailing tide, chop, wind and swell conditions. You can use an anchor trolley system with a Quick-Release Anchor System, Simple Anchoring System or a Drogue / Drift Chute.

This universal kit includes all the components you need to add an anchor trolley system to your fishing kayak. The kit comes with detailed step-by-step installation instructions that include example images of fitting this kit to a kayak. This anchor trolley kit can easily be installed to fishing kayaks with basic tools. The kit includes both stainless bolt, washer and nyloc nut fixings, and marine trifold rivets to offer options for when you can and cannot access the back of the area where the pad eye and zig zag cleat fittings are to be placed. Karabiners and Pulleys are stainless steel so are suitable for both saltwater and freshwater use.
