Old Town Heron 11 XT
With a little more length than the Heron 9XT, the Heron 11XT is that bit more efficient on the water and a better choice if you want to cover a little more distance. The more spacious interior and greater carrying capacity would also suit larger paddlers. This is a great choice for beginner and experienced recreational paddlers wanting an easy paddling kayak for exploring gentle waters. Weighing just 19.5kg / 43lb, the Heron 11XT is easy to carry off the water too.
Features include a Comfort Flex seat with plenty of padding and back support along with an easy entry cockpit and adjustable foot pegs. A great combination so that you can relax into your paddling trip and enjoy your time on the water in comfort. In the stern there is a sealed bulkhead storage compartment accessed by a Quick Seal hatch which is large enough to take a small fold-up trolley, or a dry bag with kit and your lunch.
The Heron also comes with two flush mount rod holders on the rear deck within easy reach for those who fancy a spot of fishing whilst they paddle around. Use the conveniently located paddle park to keep your paddle safe when not required. Two comfortable carry handles help when moving the kayak off the water.
