The blades feature a 'touring-lite' lay up for a light and supple feel with low swing weight. The narrow tip provides a low surface area for a cleaner catch and exit from the water. Combined with the smooth dihedral blade face, the Vanda offers smooth and relatively effortless paddle strokes for those wanting delicate precision whilst paddling. The blade widens towards the middle, to offer progressive power once the kayak is moving. Whilst predominantly designed to suit low angle strokes, the squared-off tip allows for more aggressive high-angle paddle strokes for that extra burst of power and acceleration when needed.

The 2-piece shaft features a corrosion-free nylon Kajak Sport ferrule adjuster offering 10cm of length adjustment and infinite blade feathering adjustment. The carbon shaft provides a stiff and direct contact to the water feel whilst paddling. The shaft features a ground finish for added grip.
