Replacement Idler Cable for MD180 & MDGT Kick Up

A replacement Idler Cable for the Mirage Drive 180 Kick Up and GT Kick Up.

Idler cables are subject to constant stress and strain as they run over the idler pulley with each pedal stroke. Over time, the cable can fatigue and begin to stretch and split, eventually leading to a cable break. It can be worth keeping a spare idler cable for such an event! If you notice that you keep needing to tighten your idler cable, chances are it needs replacing. 

It is recommended that you replace the 2 x nyloc nuts (Part No: 8050111) when replacing a cable. 

A note on compatibility with older non kick-up drives: 

The newer kick-up Idler Cable differs from older V2 Idler Cables by having fully round threaded ends, which pass through round holes on the pedal drum. Older V2 Idler cables have slotted / part threaded ends that pass into a slot on older pedal drums. The newer kick-up idler cables can be used on older drives - you just need to drill out the slot with a 6mm drill bit to allow it to accept the fully round threaded ends of the newer idler cables.
