Marine Trifold Rivets

Pop Rivet designed for use on plastic hulls

Marine Trifold Rivets provide a strong hold against plastic kayak hulls. The shaft of the rivet splays into 3 when compressed providing greater hold over standard pop-rivets, which would pull through plastic under pressure.

Ideal for use when access cannot be gained to allow for bolts, washers and nuts to be used. Great for fitting fixtures such as pad eyes, cleats and d-rings. These rivets will fit a pad eye fitting (5.0mm thick) to hulls up to 7.0mm in thickness.

Requires a pop-rivet gun for use (available for a low cost at most hardware stores). We recommend the use of a sealant when fixing any accessory to a kayak to provide a waterproof fitting. Requires a 5mm / 3/16" drill hole for installation. Black dome head design for neat finish.
