The Lynx brings an all-new hull design to the Hobie line-up. A sleek and streamlined low-profile hull offers speed and agility for cruising with ease on calm waters. This kayak glides like a dream! Constructed from a lightweight yet durable Ace-tec material, you can be sure that the Lynx will cope with the day to day demands of touring and kayak fishing, yet feels featherweight at just 47 lbs / 21.32 kg (fitted hull weight) for putting up on a car roof rack at the end of a session.
Featuring the Mirage Drive 180 V2 with Kick-Up Fins. Efficient forwards propulsion, with reverse at the pull of a toggle! Smooth pedalling thanks to roller bearings found at the pivoting components of the drive. The Kick-Up ST fins will automatically kick up out of the way should you strike an underwater object - this greatly reduces the chance of damaging the fins should you hit something sub-surface... or forget to take the drive out as you hit the beach! The pedal crank arms are adjustable to allow for users of various heights to use the Lynx. The Lynx comes with a raised aluminium frame mesh seat with tilt adjustment for a comfortable pedalling experience. Mono-mesh seating fabric ensures you stay cool and comfortable for long days on the water. A simplified and removable rudder system offers fingertip control of the Lynx using a steering handle that can be clipped to the seat frame on either the left or right hand side.
The flat hull design offers excellent stability for stand-up fishing on flat waters. The EVA deck pad offers comfort and grip underfoot when casting or playing a fish. Load up your Lynx with a H-Crate for fishing, or add a Cooler Bag to the bow of the Lynx to store your catch. Integrated accessory tracks feature either side of the kayak forwards of the seat allowing for easy track mounting of rod holders, fish finder mounts, camera mounts and more. Add the optional H-Rail Kit for Lynx to create even more accessory mounting space! A vertical accessory tube is located towards the bow for adding a Sail Kit, Bimini or other accessory mounts. The Lynx is also Power-Pole ready for those who really want to rig up the Lynx for fishing. Adding a fish finder is made easy thanks for the transducer cavity found on the underside of the Lynx.

The Hobie kayaks are famous for their Mirage Drive pedal system. This system consists of a pair of pedals that drive two rubber fins side to side to propel the kayak forward. The revolutionary Mirage Drive 180 allows you to pedal in reverse, all at the pull of a toggle! The Mirage System is silent while pedalling and creates no splash, it also allows you to effortlessly pedal the kayak with your feet while keeping your hands free, perfect for fishing and photography. Equipped with ARC pedal cranks that adjust with the push of a button to accommodate users from child size to tall adults. The drive system features 'Glide Technology' with roller bearings found on the major pivoting components of the drive, for a smoother and easier pedalling experience. Fitted with ST Kick Up Fins for worry-free pedalling - if you strike an object with the fins they simply kick up out of harms way to help reduce the chance of damage.
