The Thule Force roof boxes are simple to fit to your roof bars thanks to the PowerClick Mounting Clamps. These feature a torque-limited dial that clicks when the correct mounting pressure is applied. Simply place the jaw of the clamp over your roof bars and turn the dial until it clicks... easy! The Powerclick mounts are compatible with all popular roof bar types including SquareBar, WingBar Evo and WingBar Edge, as well as many other brands of roof bar. You can also T-track mount the box onto compatible bars using an additional adapter.
Featuring dual-sided opening for ease and convenience of accessing your roof box from either side of the vehicle. Easily open and lock the Force 3 XL with the SlideLock mechanism. This ensures the lid is securely closed with a visual indicator before you lock the box to keep the contents secure.

The lid of the Force 3 stays securely shut thanks to a SlideLock mechanism. The lid automatically locks the in place as you close it, with an indicator to show that it has closed and secured correctly. To open, simply slide the lock and lift the lid.

Boot Hatch Clearance
When mounted on your vehicle’s roof, a roof box may come into contact with your rear boot hatch. To determine which roof boxes fit your vehicle without contacting your hatch, measure the front clearance. This is the distance from your vehicle's front roof rack crossbar to the point where the roof meets the hatch (see image below).
If your vehicle measures greater than 1347 mm, the Force 3 XL roof box will fit your vehicle without contacting your hatch.
Note: Some roof racks that use flush rail, raised rail or fix point fittings feature adjustable position crossbars. Moving the crossbars forward on the vehicle will increase the number of roof box models that fit without contacting the boot. If you're unsure whether your vehicle's crossbars can be re-positioned, see your vehicle or roof rack manufacturer for assistance.
