The Force 3 XXL Sport is a large capacity roof box that is long with a narrower profile than the standard Force 3 roof boxes. This allows you to offset the roof box on your bars to create load space for bike racks or kayak carriers. This makes this roof box a great option for outdoor enthusiasts and those going on adventure holidays when you need to carry gear and a bike/craft on their roof rack.
Offering 450L of load capacity with weight capacity of 75kg and a max load length of 224cm, you can easily carry longer pieces of sports equipment like skis (up to 215cm), snow boards and fishing rods. The XXL Sport has an external width of 70cm, meaning you should have space beside your box on the roof bars for additional accessories, depending on the length of your roof bars. Choose a roof rack such as the Wingbar Evo system for maximum roof bar load space when used with a roof box.
The Force 3 features a tough design with an AeroSkin black finish that not only looks good, but will withstand the demand of daily use on the road. Fitting the roof box to your bars is made easy with the Powerclick Mounting Clamps. These feature a turn dial that is torque-limited and will click once the recommended mounting pressure has been achieved. Just place the jaws of the clamp over your roof bars, and turn the dial until it clicks - simple! The Powerclick mounts are compatible with all popular roof bar types including SquareBar, WingBar Evo and WingBar Edge, as well as many other brands of roof bar. You can also T-track mount the box onto compatible bars using an additional adapter.
Open the Force 3 XXL Sport from either side thanks to the dual-sided hinge system. A SlideLock mechanism ensures easy opening and secure closing, with a visual indicator that shows when the box is closed correctly and can be locked to keep the contents secure.

Boot Hatch Clearance
When mounted on your vehicle’s roof, a roof box may come into contact with your rear boot hatch. To determine which roof boxes fit your vehicle without contacting your hatch, measure the front clearance. This is the distance from your vehicle's front roof rack crossbar to the point where the roof meets the hatch (see image below).
If your vehicle measures greater than 1432 mm, the Force 3 XXL Sport roof box will fit your vehicle without contacting your hatch.
Note: Some roof racks that use flush rail, raised rail or fix point fittings feature adjustable position crossbars. Moving the crossbars forward on the vehicle will increase the number of roof box models that fit without contacting the boot. If you're unsure whether your vehicle's crossbars can be re-positioned, see your vehicle or roof rack manufacturer for assistance.
