The Mirage Drive 180 is the driving force behind most of the Hobie Kayak range. Offering a smooth pedalling performance with both forwards and reverse modes thanks to the 180 mechanism integrated into the drive. Simply pull the toggle on the drive, and you can switch the fins 180 from forwards to reverse (or vice versa). You keep pedalling as normal, and have full power in either forwards or reverse!

Enjoy smooth pedalling thanks to Glide Technology, where roller bearings are used at all major pivoting components - the Drums, Sprockets and Idler Pulley. The Kick Up Fins offer piece of mind and will kick up out of harms way should you strike an object whilst pedalling. This greatly reduces the chance of damaging your fins or drive. Gently curved ARC pedal cranks are fully adjustable at the push of a button, allowing drive to be used by users of various heights.

The Mirage Drive 180 V2 Kick Up is compatible with the entire Hobie Kayak range, with the exception of the Pro Angler 360 series and the Eclipse Boards, which have their own unique drive systems. These drives comes as standard on all newer Outback, Compass, Revolution 11 & 13, Oasis, Compass Duo, Lynx, Pro Angler 12 & 14 (non-360), Adventure Island and Tandem Island. Choose from either standard Kick Up Fins, or a drive equipped with Turbo Kick Up Fins offering a greater top speed and a lower cadence at cruising speeds.
