The Thule OutWay Hanging 3 bike carrier has a secure rear door mounting design that is quick to fit and easy to use. As you would expect with any Thule product the design and build quality is excellent making this a reliable and durable way of transporting up to 3 bikes on any adventure.
Featuring an intuitive torque limiting system and firm attachment hooks giving peace of mind that your bikes are secure during transport. The OutWay Hanging 3 has a secure lock that helps prevent theft and the twin boot attachments are fitted with rubber buffer pads to protect your vehicle's paint.
The soft bike arms will absorb most shocks and road vibrations and bike frames are secured using a click ratchet style strap with soft frame protector to maximise protection. The anti-sway system ensures there will be no bike-to-bike or bike-to-vehicle contact so you can rest assured that your bikes will be safe from scratches and abrasion during the journey. The adjustable bike arms on the OutWay Hanging 3 make it compatible with a range of bike frames, including some kids bikes - see the specifications below for details.
Note: on many vehicles the bikes on this rack will obscure the rear lights and/or registration plate — the optional Thule Lightboard 976 may be required.
