Touring and Sea Kayaking Buoyancy Aid

Palm's Kaikoura is the benchmark in touring/sea kayaking PFDs. It is a front-zipped expedition-level touring PFD packed with plenty of features and storage space. Flex-formed foam technology means you barely notice you are wearing it and multiple reflective patches ensure you will be seen when needed. The Kaikoura features multiple storage pockets two of which can carry a VHF or PLB, the handwarming pockets are really useful on chilly days and the many adjustment points enable you to have the perfect fit. PFD Fit Guide

Chest – Measure horizontally under the armpits, around the fullest part of your chest and shoulder blades.

Weight – Factor in the weight of all the equipment you'll be wearing as well.

PFD Buoyancy Label – A correct fit is more important than choosing the buoyancy category according to their weight. All Palm Buoyancy Aids have buoyancy above the minimum floatation required for CE/ISO certification. PFD weight ranges are printed inside Palm Buoyancy Aids, on the ISO label.
