The Old Town Discovery 119 is a solo canoe made for general purpose paddling such as touring, fishing and white water. Its shorter size and versatility has made it one of our best selling solo canoes. Perfect for those solo day trips on the lake, river or estuary, yet with enough capacity to take along a small child, dog or even some camping kit.

The Discovery 119 can be paddled using either a traditional single bladed canoe paddle, or even a long length double-bladed kayak paddle. Nimble through the water and easy to edge and turn, making those solo paddling trips more manageable. Weighing in at just 22.7kg, the Discovery 119 is easy to car-top and portage.

Constructed from triple-layer polyethylene providing a very robust hull for years of paddling use. Outfitted with a wood-web seat, ash thwarts, tough polyethylene deck ends with built-in grab handles and durable black vinyl gunwales.
