The Old Town Discovery Outfitter canoes are designed for commercial operators who require durable craft for regular use. Outfitted to be low maintenance and provide many seasons of reliable service. These canoes are a great choice for canoe hire & rental fleets, outdoor activity centres, schools and other commercial uses, but are also a great choice for recreational customers wanting a tough canoe that require minimal maintenance. We can also offer 3rd centre PE seat options if additional seating capacity is required. Also available with Seat Back Kits (sold seperately), for recreational and commercial customers wanting added comfort as they paddle.

Featuring tough triple-layer hull constructions with durable vinyl gunwales and end plates with built-in carry handles. Outfitted with bow and stern blow-moulded plastic seats for excellent durability. A varnished carrying yoke and thwart finish the outfitting. These are tough and durable canoes designed to take on plenty of paddling abuse!

Available in 2 sizes - the 15ft 8in Discovery 158 Outfitter and the larger 16ft 9in Discovery 169 Outfitter. The 158 is a great canoe for general hire use, accomodating two adult paddlers with space for a child passenger. The 169 is a large capacity canoe that will carry two adult paddlers plus a couple of children, or just several children as part of a school or centre group session. Add in an optional 3rd centre PE seat for even more seating capacity!
