The Gumotex Rush 2 uses the latest drop stitch technology to achieve hydrodynamic lines and a higher pressure hull for more efficient paddling. The Rush 2 is a versatile tandem inflatable kayak with an open cockpit design, for which you can purchase an optional cockpit cover should you wish to have the option of choosing a closed cockpit for rougher water or poor weather paddling. The main advantages of the drop stitch hydrodynamic construction are speed and stability, along with better edging control. The Rush 2 is suitable for gentle recreational paddling on calm lakes or rivers, as well as cruising along the seashore in light winds. It is also a good choice for running white water rivers up to grade 2. There is also an optional rudder assembly, which will improve performance on open water in windy or choppy conditions.

At 15.5 kg, the Rush 2 is easy to carry inflated or deflated and packed into its bag. This makes for efficient portaging from car to water, one lake to the next, or cross-country to waters in less accessible locations. The included deck lines are handy for storing extra kit, and the comfortable seat allows you to get into a good position for paddling. A removable tracking fin is also included to help with straight line paddling when needed.

Like all the Gumotex range, this kayak deflates and packs down into a relatively small bag for transportation. This means you can store it securely inside your van, car boot or boat ready to be inflated in just a few minutes as and when needed.
