Inflatable One-Person Kayak

The Gumotex Safari 330 is a versatile inflatable kayak capable of handling low grade whitewater and small surf, but also performs well for touring day trips on calm water. At only 12kg the Safari can be packed in a rucksack and carried to locations which are difficult to access or easily portaged while inflated to move from one waterway to another. This is a great all-rounder that is designed for fun!

The tough Nitrilon hull is stable to paddle yet manoeuverable enough to negotiate small rapids and play in small surf on the beach. The self-bailing hull design ensures the water moves quickly off the deck should you get swamped. Integrated thigh straps improve connectivity with the hull which provides the paddler with increased handling and control when the water gets rough!

The Safari is also great for gentle touring on calm lakes, slow moving rivers, canals and sheltered coastal waters. The Safari 330 features a large rear storage area, with bungee cord retainers, which will take a big dry bag full of kit or enough gear for an overnight camp. We have also sold several of this model to people wanting a versatile tender which can be packed away on board their yacht during voyages then used to explore coves and creeks. Unlike a traditional tender an inflatable kayak can be packed down after use and put in the car boot to be stored securely at home until it is needed again.
