Side-Scan Transducer Mount for Hobie

Sidescan transducers are typically much larger than the transducer scupper holes found on many kayaks. This is the case for the Lowrance-Ready scupper hole found on many Hobie Kayaks. BerleyPro have produced this mount and cover allowing Garmin SideVu transducers to be installed on the Lowrance-Ready scupper! The cover provides protection to the transducer with no noticeable degradation in downscan or side scan reading quality.

This transducer mount works with the following Garmin transducers:

• Garmin GT52HW-TM

• Garmin GT56UHD-TM

Please Note: This mount will protrude below the keel of the kayak and will become the low point on the under-hull. Caution is required when launching, landing and loading your kayak onto your vehicle. Simply adjust your procedure to ensure you take into account the transducer mounted beneath the hull.
