The Malibu 2 double kayak from Ocean Kayak has long been a favourite amongst families and kayak hire centres alike, offering an excellent combination of stability and paddling performance in a robust and durable design. Now under the Old Town Ocean Kayak Series brand, the Malibu 2 has been given a fresh new design with a new set of features on this much loved tandem kayak. Offering reassuring stability with a hull design that paddles and glides well on flat waters, yet has a bow shape that will cope fine with the choppy wind waves and gentles swells found on the coast. Perfect for a day out exploring the local coastaline, estuary or lake, or just for some good fun at the beach!
Equipped with 2 fold-down seats that offer excellent back support, with moulded-in footrests to provide good comfort whilst paddling. Great for two adult paddlers, with just enough space to take a small child or pet dog along too. Two QuickStash hatches located in front of each seat make a useful place to store small items of gear within easy reach. There are also large cup holders located beside each seat for each paddler. Further storage space can be found at the bow and rear tankwell with bungees to kee gear secured down.
Sturdy carrying handles are fitted to the front back and sides, and the stackable design makes storage and transportation of multiple kayaks easier.
