Sikaflex EBT+ Clear 300ml Sealant/Adhesive

Flexible Adhesive for Transducer Installation

Sikaflex®-EBT+ is a multi-purpose one part, elastic, polyurethane adhesive and sealant. It bonds to a wide range of materials and remains permanently elastic with excellent grab and gap filling properties. This makes it great for glueing fish finder transducers to the hull of a kayak! It is also great for a range of other jobs such as sealing fixings and sealing kayak bulkheads.

This is a clear adhesive and is supplied in a 300ml cartridge tube, for use with a standard cartridge applicator gun.

Note: When using Sikaflex to install a transducer it is essential that you do not introduce air bubbles into the glue when applying to the hull of a kayak. Air bubbles cause sonar interference and will lead to a poor reading on the fish finder display. Practice applying Sikaflex to some scrap paper/card before using on the kayak. If air bubbles are present once the adhesive has cured, simply prize off the glue and transducer from the kayak, peel the glue off the transducer (this can be tough but it will come off!) and start again.
