At 10ft in length, with a width of 33in and a hull design that provide a lot of stability to this compact craft, you can be reassured that the Makana will carry you and your fishing gear and still feel very stable for fishing from. In fact the Makana is more than stable enough for stand up casting and fishing in flat water conditions! Equipped with the Vibe Hero 2.0 framed seat for excellent back support and all-day comfort as you pedal and fish.

X-Drive Pedal Performance

The Vibe X-Drive slots into the hull and provide you with efficient propulsion via the flexible fins fitted to the drive system. Simply step back and forth on the pedals and you drive the Makana forwards with nimble speed. This is a big advantage for kayak fishing - you can cast or play fish whilst on the move. Combat the action of the wind or current, or simply troll lures at your leisure as you pedal along. Pedal drive kayaks have revolutionised kayak fishing, and the Makana 100 offers excellent pedal performance on a compact and nimble hull design. Steering is made easy thanks to the installed rudder system, with steering controls located beside the seat.

Easy To Accessorise

This is a very capable fishing kayak with no shortage of features for you to accessorise the Makana into a full-on kayak fishing rig! Installation of a fish finder is made easy thanks to the transducer mounting port located on the underside of the hull. The slide tracks fitted either side of the kayak make a great spot for adding fish finder mounts, extra rod holders, camera mounts and more! The tracks are compatible with all popular track mount accessories from Railblaza, Ram Mounts and Yak Attack.

Plenty of Room For Fishing Gear

Equipped with 2 flush mount rod holders behind the seat to hold your rods whilst pedalling or trolling. The rear cargo well is large enough to carry a YakAttack BlackPak Pro 13x16 or similar crate storage box. Beside the seat you have 2 x tackle tray holders, each one will hold 2 x Plano 3600 tackle boxes (sold separately). There is a good amount of space beneath the seat to store a tackle box or bait bag too. There is a small additional storage space at the bow with a Flex Top gear cover to hold your gear in place. Beneath the cover there is an 8in V-Wave Hatch to provide access inside the hull. The cover also features a quick stow paddle blade holder - handy for quickly storing the paddle when you get a bite. Bungee paddle holders can also be found either side of the kayak.

Stable Platform for Stand Up Fishing

Despite being just 10ft in length, the Makana hull has been designed to offer excellent stability. The standing area is fitted with deck pads for extra grip and comfort underfoot so that you can stand up and cast a line and fish on flat waters.

Other features include 4 x Phantom Grip Carry Handles, 2 heavy-load stern handles, 2 cup holders, a removable skid plate and 2 x Power-Pole mounting points at the stern.
