The Feelfree Nomad Sport is one of the UK's best-selling sit on top kayaks. The Nomad Sport is the perfect all round sit-on-top for those looking to explore and paddle on coastline, canals, lakes or inland waterways. The Nomad Sport is lightweight and easily transported on a standard car roof rack, for carrying multiple Nomads we sell upright roof bars.

Based on the same hull as the Roamer 1, the Nomad cuts through the water and its raised bow rides the chop well. The keel line provides enough straight line tracking performance whilst still making the boat easy to turn. On a calm day the Nomad Sport is at home exploring the bays and rocks around the Cornish coastline, or touring on our local estuaries and creeks such as the Fal, Fowey and Helford river. If there's a wave, fit a pair of leg straps and you'll have great fun surfing the Nomad.

Standard features include a comfortable seating position with good-sized foot rests and room for longer legs. Taller paddlers will find that the Nomad Sport has more legroom than the Roamer 1. Plenty of storage space for your essentials with a centre hatch with mesh bag (perfect for a small dry bag) and a good-sized tank well at the back with bungees. The moulded carry handles at the front, back and sides make car topping and carrying the Nomad very easy, they also provide the perfect means of securing your kayak with a sturdy bike lock. The side handles also enable the kayak to be carried by one person and are useful on the water to assist with climbing back on board after snorkelling or going for a swim.

Wheel in the keel: We offer the Nomad with or without the wheel in the keel. The wheel is ideal for moving the Nomad on firm surfaces such as slip ways, river banks, firm sand and car parks. We advise using a trolley for many of the Cornish beaches.

Fishing Rod Holders
You don't have to be a serious kayak angler to catch some fish for tea. The Nomad has 2 recessed areas for fitting flush mounted rod holders on the sides behind the seat, these are perfect for trolling for mackerel or for transporting your rods to a local fishing mark. Feelfree Flush mounted rod holders (supplied as a pair) can be fitted by anyone with basic DIY skills.

Optional accessories include a choice of padded seats, leg straps for additional control in the surf, a removable skeg and scupper bungs.
