The Islander Koa is designed for beach fun, with its wave piercing bow it is a joy to paddle in the surf. It has a stable multi-chine hull with full keel so has good straight line tracking and is an easy to paddle kayak for exploring gentle waterways such as canals, rivers or lakes.

The Koa is both compact and lightweight which makes it easy to load onto a car roof and to carry to the water. On the water the Koa can feel like a much bigger kayak than it is, it cuts through chop and rides over small surf really well, it is also very agile and has a surprising turn of speed when needed. Sturdy carry handles allow you lift and move the Koa with little effort, and at only 18kg it is an easy kayak to put onto your car roof rack. At 2.58m it will fit in the back of many vans too! There is a moulded-in threaded brass insert at the bow of the Koa allowing you to easily add a camera mount (sold seperately) so that you can catch all the action!

Koa Sport: Supplied with a central 6in screw hatch and Deluxe Seat
