The Dagger Stratos 12.5 has all of the features of the larger Stratos 14.5 but in a more compact and manoeuverable build. The 12.5 is stable and predictable in calm or stormy waters making it suitable for fairly new paddlers, however it is also highly responsive when needed so will ensure plenty of big grins and adrenaline for the more adventurous thrill seekers too. Volume around the middle keeps you comfortable and riding high, whilst finely tuned rocker profile and soft edges make the boat lively and forgiving in rough conditions. It is an ideal choice for anyone wanting a versatile multi-purpose kayak.

Designed for rapid acceleration and with good edge holding and turning ability the Stratos 12.5 is ideal for playing in tide races, surf and rock gardens or journeying along the coastline. It also does well on fairly gnarly white water river runs although that is not its primary function! The CFS Seating System is fitted as standard and bow and stern bulkheads with storage hatches provide good buoyancy should you come out when pushing your limits. These also provide sufficient storage so you can use it for overnight trips too.

Great hull design is complimented by the excellent cockpit outfitting which can be adjusted to ensure maximum conectivity and make sure that every move you make is transferred directly to the boat. The Stratos comes with Dagger's Contour Lite outfitting which provides plenty of comfort and multi-adjust options such as variable hip pad shims for fine tuning the thigh pads to ensure you get the level of comfort and control needed for an outstanding paddling experience.

The Dagger Stratos 12.5 comes in two sizes, both are the same length and have customisable outfiting to ensure the right fit for your body size.

Stratos 12.5L - this model features a more voluminous deck height for larger paddlers or those that prefer a larger fit and has a maximum capacity of 136kg/300lbs.

Stratos 12.5S - this model features a lower deck height and is more suited for smaller to medium-sized paddlers or paddlers with a shorter torso but still with great capacity at  (113kg) 250 lbs.
