The Discovery is constructed from triple-layer polyethylene. An inner layer of close cell foam sandwiched between two layers of high-density polyethylene. This construction provides a lighter, stiffer and stronger build than that of a single layered canoe. Designed to take on the abuse on many seasons of paddling adventures and the tough construction is what makes this canoe so popular with outdoor activity centres and hire operators too.

Outfitted with two wood/web seats and an ash thwart and carry yoke. The hull is finished with durable vinyl gunwales and end deck plates with built-in carry handles.
