An oval bow hatch offers access inside the Profish GT for storage of gear. The hatch is large enough to carry the popular Railblaza C-Tug Trolley.
The rounded bow of the Profish GT will cope with small choppy waves. Threaded brass inserts are installed either side of the bow for easy anchor trolley installation.
Equipped with 2 x forwards facing rod holders and 2 x rear facing rod holders along with 2 x Railblaza StarPort HD mounts beside the seat for extra accessory mounting.
The large tankwell will hold all your fishing gear and can be used with the Viking Chill Pod or Insulated Fish Bag
The back of the Profish GT features a number of threaded brass inserts for easy anchor trolley and rudder kit installation. Two carry handles makes grabbing and lifting the kayak much easier.

Stable Fishing Kayak with Tackle Pod
The Viking Profish GT is a compact fishing kayak that really packs a punch! It has impressive levels of stability and will comfortably take a larger paddler with a days fishing kit. With plenty of hull capacity for a 12ft kayak, the Profish GT provides a reasonably dry ride for the paddler. A great fishing kayak for those looking at coastal fishing in calm to moderate conditions, as well as inland waterway paddling and fishing. Whilst being compact the GT has the stability and buoyancy within the hull to punch out through surf if required and thanks to the hull rocker it can be surfed back in fairly well too!
The GT comes with Vikings innovative Tackle Pod - a fully integrated and removable fish finder, battery, and transducer setup combined with a large tackle storage space. Simply load up the tackle pod at home so that when you get to the launch spot it is quick and easy to tackle up! The hinged lid of the Tackle Pod allows for easy access to your tackle when on the water. The lid also includes a built-in bait chopping board! The top of the Pod makes a great surface for mounting your fish finder unit as well as other accessories such as Rod Holders, and comes fitted with 2 x Railblaza StarPort HD mounts for easy accessory mounting. A transducer slot features on the base of the pod and will take the majority of popular fish finder transducers - see the 'Tackle-Pod' section for compatible models.
Other features include 4 flush mount rod holders (2 front facing and 2 rear facing), 2 more StarPort HD mounts, as well as adjustable foot rests and a front hatch which is large enough to take a kayak trolley including the popular Railblaza C-Tugs. The large rear tank well provides plenty of space for additional gear storage and will take the optional Viking Profish Chill-Pod, if you want to keep your catch secure and fresh whilst on the water. Car topping the GT is fairly easy thanks to the moulded-in solid side handles and its respectable 27kg hull weight.
The Profish GT is not supplied with a seat or a paddle. We recommend the Feelfree Deluxe Seat for this model. The optional rudder kit is available for the GT to enhance performance and handling when paddling in cross-winds or cross currents. Another optional extra is the Kid-Pod - this sits in the place of the tackle-pod and provides a seating position to take a child out on the water with you! It also provides a flat, stable surface for fresh water anglers to stand and sight cast to fish.

Please note the Lowrance side imaging transducers are too long to fit.
Raymarine
- The latest Raymarine Dragonfly 'Pro' and 'DVS' transducers will fit (just) provided the stem is left free sliding rather than locked forward. The original (old model) Dragonfly transducer is an easy fit.
Garmin
- The standard Garmin transducers tested to date fit, the large down imaging transducers may fit, but this has yet to be confirmed.
Humminbird
- All Humminbird transducers tested to date fit, including the compact down imaging, side imaging, and XD transducers
