Designed to be the perfect all-rounder for both fishing and general touring, the Outback has a hull design which performs well on both inland waterways and inshore coastal waters. The stable hull design provides a comfortable platform to fish from all-day long and the new efficient bow design pierces well through wind and chop whilst reducing hull slap. The Outback is propelled through the water using the revolutionary Mirage Drive 180 system with Kick-Up Turbo Fins - full power pedal drive in forwards... and reverse! Switching between forwards and reverse is as simple and easy as pulling a toggle on the drive system. The drive system features 'Glide Technology' with roller bearings found on the major pivoting components of the drive, for a smoother and easier pedalling experience. The Mirage Drive 180 comes equipped with Kick Up Fins. Kick Up fins offer worry-free pedalling - should you strike an object with the fins they simply kick up out of harms way to help reduce the risk of damage. The Outback is also supplied with a 2-piece fibreglass paddle incase you fancy exercising your arms. Steering is easy with the integrated kick-up rudder and steering controls found on both sides of the seat, allowing you to maneovure in and out of the tightest of spots.

The super comfortable Vantage CTW seat ensures you will have comfortable ride and is 1.5in wider than the standard CT seat, providing extra room and comfort, particularly for the larger user. This kayak is stacked out with cool features including a large rectangular centre hatch with easy twist-n-lock open/closure, perfect for storing tackle/bait. The hatch comes complete with a gear bucket and features a rubber mesh pocket and bottle opener on its lid!

Everything is just where you need it with H-Rail Deluxe (H-Rail with integrated H-Track!) and H-Track on either side of the cockpit providing the perfect solution to mounting fish finders, rod holders and other accessories. The space between the inner H-Rail Deluxe and Outer H-Track forms the perfect space for storing tackle boxes such as the Plano Waterproof Boxes. Rubber Mesh Storage Pockets also make a handy place to store small items of gear. There are also tool holding notches present - ideal for keeping your scissors handy. H-Tracks are also found at the sides of the rear cargo area - perfect for mounting camera poles/booms, safety flags and lighting poles.

There is stacks of storage space on this kayak with a large rear cargo area which will easily hold a H-Crate or Livewell. A large bow hatch will take further gear and has enough space for fold-up trolleys such as the Railblaza C-Tug. The Outback also comes fitted with the Hobie Guardian Transducer Shield - a retractable transducer mount for your fish finder keeping it well protected during launch/landing and transport. Fitted Thru-Hull Cable Seals for the fish finder wiring makes fish finder installation easy on the Outback.

The superior stability provided by the Outbacks hull design allows for stand-up fishing and casting on calm waters. EVA Foam Standing Pads are fitted either side of the centre hatch to give a grippy level surface for standing. Other features include 4 flush mounted rod holders, a bungee trolley retainer at the back of the cargo area, a sail mount for an optional sail kit, front toggle handle, large h-rail rear handle, central carry handles located under the seat, reinforced scupper holes, cupholders, side storage recesses, power-pole mounting inserts and more!!
